After my military service in French Guiana, I had a life-changing experience where I met great people and experienced an unprecedented encounter with nature. But as soon as I returned to Martinique, the island where I grew up, I had little time to relax on the beach or swim in the ocean because I was packing my bags again — this time for a professional adventure in France.

After I got my first job, I made a conscious decision to learn how to use a computer, and after cashing my first paychecks, I bought one. It was ridiculous—I didn’t even know where the power button was to turn it on. But after a few months of reading instruction manuals, books, and magazines, eventually, I became adept at taking them apart and putting them back together again, and creating software of my own. For example, I made some file management software for my work, some turf software for my uncle, and some video editing software. The more time passed, the more entranced I felt by this entire world of computers.

In 2008, I discovered Network Marketing but especially Digital Marketing, a business that leverages technology. While surfing the Internet, I came across an offer from someone who proposed to train his team to set up the same system as him to develop a business in automatic mode. I accepted this offer and learned a lot about digital marketing, email marketing, autoresponders, and other tools that helped me to duplicate what I had learned by implementing them on my own projects.

I loved digital marketing. And as I became more aware of it, my freedom to do what I liked was diminishing. At that very moment, I struck out on my own and pursued a career in something in that field.
